About Us
WE MAKE BOOTS THAT HOLD
MAGTO is a safety footwear brand built on a simple conviction: the ground you stand on is earned — and your boots should reflect that. Every person who steps onto a site, walks across a factory floor, climbs into heavy machinery, or spends a full shift on their feet — has earned the right to footwear that doesn't fail them.
Not the footwear that looks the part. Not the footwear that has the right stamp on the heel. The one that actually holds — when the day is long, when the conditions are hard, when it matters most. That's what MAGTO is for.

THE Moment that
everyThing started
Every worker knows the moment when a boot stops being invisible and starts becoming a problem. It may feel solid when the shift begins, but by mid-morning the weight shows, the grip weakens, the heat builds, and the protection starts to feel uncertain. The work does not stop because the boot fails, so the worker keeps going — but they notice. MAGTO was built to remove that moment.
HOW WE BUILT IT
WHERE IT STARTED

MAGTO started with people who knew boots from years of wearing them, sourcing them, and watching workers depend on them every day. We kept asking one question: why is it so hard to find safety footwear that is simply built well? Not just a boot with a known name or the right stamp, but one where the materials match the claims, the construction holds under real conditions, and the wearer does not have to think about the boot at all.
We studied where compromises hide: in material substitutions, construction shortcuts, and the gap between passing a standard on paper and performing when the standard is real work.
So we decided to build something different — not in name, but in substance
THE COMPANY
WHY PT VENAMON
MAGTO is manufactured by PT Venamon, a Bandung-based footwear manufacturer with decades of experience building functional footwear to a serious standard.
This matters because a safety boot is not a fashion product. It is protective equipment that must perform under load, on real surfaces, in demanding environments — every time, in every pair.
That consistency does not come from clever design or marketing. It comes from a factory that understands materials, construction, quality control, and the discipline of making footwear properly, year after year, PT Venamon is that factory.
Its craftspeople have spent long careers in shoemaking. Its teams understand pattern construction, lasting, sole bonding, materials sourcing, batch tracking, and finished-goods inspection — not as theory, but as daily production practice.
When we chose PT Venamon, we were not choosing a contract manufacturer. We were choosing manufacturing heritage, proven discipline, and the ability to make every layer of the boot hold to the same standard.
That is what gives MAGTO credibility at the manufacturing level. Our boots are built by people whose reputation depends on getting the details right — because that is what they have always done.
Heritage that stands. Standards that keep moving.
THE COMPANY
Built to a Standard. Certified to a Standard.
MAGTO carries SNI 8877.2023 certification — the Indonesian National Standard for safety footwear.
For us, SNI is not a logo on a website or a line in a brochure. It is proof that the boot has been tested, documented, and built against a real performance standard.
SNI 8877.2023 covers key safety requirements, including impact resistance, compression resistance, slip resistance, oil resistance, antistatic properties, anti-puncture performance, and material integrity. To carry the mark properly, a product must pass accredited testing and the manufacturer must be auditable beyond sample submissions.
Every MAGTO model has been tested, registered, and backed by certification reports available on request.
But certification is only the floor.
The deeper commitment happens in daily production: the materials selected, the construction discipline, and the consistency that keeps every batch aligned with the same internal standard.
That is where PT Venamon's heritage matters. The standard tells you what a boot must pass; the manufacturer proves whether every pair can keep passing it.
MAGTO is built for that proof — not just because the standard requires it, but because the people wearing the boots deserve it.
THE COMPANY
How We Built IT
We started by finding the right people to build with. That led us to PT Venamon in Bandung — a manufacturing facility rooted in decades of Indonesian shoemaking craft, where the people on the production floor have spent their lives learning how footwear is supposed to be made. Not assembled. Made.Bandung wasn't a random choice. It was a deliberate one. The shoemaking heritage there runs deep — in the material knowledge, in the production discipline, in the pride that skilled craftspeople take in doing a piece of work properly. That's the environment we wanted MAGTO to exist in.From there, we made decision after decision about what goes into every boot:
| Component | Detail |
| Upper | Genuine leather — selected for durability, flexibility, and breathability under real conditions |
| Linning | Breathable mesh — handles heat and humidity without trapping it |
| Insole | Removable molded EVA — shock absorption that still works at the end of a long shift |
| Outsole | Anti-slip, oil-resistant rubber — grip that adapts to mixed surfaces, not just ideal ones |
| toe | Steel toe cap — certified impact and compression resistance |
| Construction | Reinforced wall stitch — structural integrity that doesn't rely on adhesive alone |
None of these are exotic choices. They are the right choices. What is unique about MAGTO is the decision to specify them, source
them, and assemble them to the same standard in every production run — and the manufacturing partner with the heritage and discipline to execute that decision pair after pair, batch after batch.
MAGTO is not a brand that found a factory. MAGTO is a brand that was built around the kind of factory that already knew how to do this work — and committed to a standard that honours both the work and the people who depend on it.

WHY IT TOOK TIME
We release boots when they're ready — Not when the calendar says it's time.
That meant saying no to the usual shortcuts: rushed launch dates, weak prototypes, easier components, and tests that look good on paper but fail in real conditions.
We turned back what did not hold, accepted the added cost and complexity, and kept testing until the boots met the standard workers deserve.
The delay cost us time, opportunities, and easy explanations. It was worth it.
THE PEOPLE BEHIND MAGTO
MAGTO COMES FROM TWO FORCES:
Indonesian shoemaking craft and a team that refuses to accept “good enough.”
On the production side are craftspeople with decades of experience building footwear that lasts. They understand a boot as a structure — not a collection of parts.
On the brand side are people who believe every partnership must be earned. Whether you are a procurement manager, safety officer, contractor, or distributor, you get honesty, consistency, and boots built for real work.
We do not hide behind distributors or disappear after the order is placed. When you talk to MAGTO, you talk to the people building it.

SHOES BREAKDOWN
Every worker knows the moment when a boot stops being invisible and starts becoming a problem. It may feel solid when the shift begins, but by mid-morning the weight shows, the grip weakens, the heat builds, and the protection starts to feel uncertain. The work does not stop because the boot fails, so the worker keeps going — but they notice. MAGTO was built to remove that moment.

Three Things We Refuse to Compromise On
WHAT WE BELIEVE
Nothing about MAGTO is cosmetic. Every material, design choice, and component must prove its value in the boot and in the field. If it does not make the boot safer, stronger, or more comfortable, it does not belong. MAGTO is built for real work — not catalogues.
MAGTO is built for work, not show. The engineering is honest, the certifications are real, and every performance claim is backed by production reality. We are building toward international standards, but the foundation stays the same: build it right, test it honestly, and stand behind what we make.
A safety boot that fails is not just a product issue. It puts a person's safety, shift, and family's peace of mind at risk. MAGTO takes that responsibility seriously — in every pair we make, every batch we ship, and every team that trusts us. We stand behind our boots, so they can stand behind the people who wear them.

Certifications
MAGTO: SNI 8877.2023 Certified
MAGTO safety footwear is certified to SNI 8877.2023 — the Indonesian National Standard for safety footwear. This certification covers impact resistance, compression resistance, slip resistance, electrical resistance where specified, and material integrity.
What SNI 8877.2023 means for your procurement:
- Product has been tested and audited by an accredited body
- Production is monitored under certification conditions — not just design
- Compliance documentation is available for your procurement files
- Certification applies to every batch, not just a sample run
Where We're Going
Magto is Growing
We're expanding the product range — bringing the same engineering philosophy, the same material standards, and the same production discipline to a broader lineup that serves more roles, more sectors, more kinds of work. We're building toward broader international compliance — because the ambition behind the boot matches the ambition of the people who wear it. We're deepening the partnerships we've started — because a brand is only as good as the relationships it keeps. One foundation, unchanged: boots that earn their place on the foot.
